The role involves direct discussion with customers and suppliers to help and inform them to buy the products most suitable for them and to provide the high levels of service that customers expect.
Location: Ponsford, Sheffield S2 4HS
Salary: From £22,758 per year + unlimited commission on delivered sales with no upper limit.
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent | 42 hours over 5-day-week including late-opening Wednesdays and weekends.
Experience required: Some experience selling furniture, carpets or bedrooms and evidence of building a working relationship with customers would be an advantage. A good telephone manner and keyboard skills are essential as well as a strong ability to work under pressure. The store is open 7 days a week and weekend working would be part of the job, as furniture customers shop at weekends and on Bank Holidays, so you must be flexible to be available at those times. Product training will be provided and they would prefer applicants with experience in selling high end products with personal service.
