Yes, we do have a showroom. Our 60,000 sq ft furniture showroom displaying over 30,000 products is located on 577-609 London Road, Sheffield, S2 4HS. To find our showroom please see our find us page.

What do I do if I don’t want to place my order online?

If you would rather talk to us directly to place your order, you can phone our team of trained advisors on 0114 255 0075. Simply call any time between 9am–5.30pm from Monday to Saturday (Wednesday late night 7.30pm) and from 11am-5pm on Sunday. Alternatively, come and visit our showroom.

How can I pay for my purchases?

For online orders the easiest method is to use our fully automated online card payments processing system. Alternatively, we can provide our bank details for payments by bank transfer. Unfortunately, we can’t process card payments over the phone. Please email sales@ponsford.co.uk for details. In store, we can process your payments via most types of credit/debit cards (American Express excluded, we apologise for any inconvenience). In addition we also accept payments via cash, cheque or interest free credit, please call in store at 0114 255 0075 to ask for details.

How secure are my credit/debit card details?

Security is a priority for us. We use Sage Pay a system that has the highest level of card data security (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant) so our customers can trade with peace of mind and shoppers are protected against fraud. There have been no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.

We do our best to display an updated catalogue of furniture on our website. However, if you can't find what you are looking for, please do get in touch by phone or email as we can supply most items from leading manufacturers.

Have you seen the same product cheaper elsewhere?

We aim for our prices to be as competitive as possible. We regularly price check our competitors both in store and online so that we can offer you the best price. However, if you find a competitor offering a better price on the same product and with same levels of service, just let us know. We want you to buy from us!

How long will delivery take on my order?

After ordering we will contact you (within 48 hours) via e-mail or telephone to advise of an estimated lead time for your item(s). An approximate lead time is given on each individual product page; if timing is an issue then please call us on 0114 255 0075 and we'll be happy to advise if a product can be sourced more quickly.

What will the delivery of my item(s) cost me?

Local delivery within a 50 mile radius of store is charged at a rate of £25. National delivery is charged at a rate of £49 (parts of Scotland & Northern Ireland may incur additional charge), this applies to deliveries outside a 50 mile radius of store. Certain orders, such as free delivery items or those dispatched direct from the manufacturer will be delivered using a trusted third party courier. You will be notified after purchase (within 48 hours) via e-mail or telephone if this is the case. Alternatively, you can select to collect your purchase from the store or our warehouse free of charge. You will be contacted when your item(s) is in stock to arrange a suitable date for collection.

Can I cancel my order before delivery takes place?

If you do wish to cancel an order you will need to contact us via e-mail sales@ponsford.co.uk or call the store 0114 255 0075 and we can process the cancellation on your behalf. Once we acknowledge receipt of the cancellation a full refund will be issued in case of an item from stock (using the original payment method). In case of items not from stock, cancellation will regrettably incur a 100% charge of the full selling price. Where an item is specifically manufactured to your requirements our usual returns policy does not apply, returns can only be accepted if the item is defective or at the discretion of Ponsford Ltd management.
